Tuileries at night

When we were near the Eiffel Tower I had wondered when it would be illuminated. Greg had ventured a guess of 6-6:30 which felt right based on when we thought the sun set.

Turns out 5:30. So much better than in the summer months when it was 10pm which is way past my usual bedtime.

I’d been on the hunt for the perfect lemon crepe. I wasn’t going to get one unless it seemed like it was going to be legit. I found the perfect crepe stand near the entrance to the Louvre/Tuileries.

This guy knows what he’s doing.
And a Bon Appetite holder! Man, wonder what Milo and Erwin are doing now?

The area was buzzing with people. We sat and enjoyed the views and people watched for a bit.

This lady was making giant bubbles.
At 6pm it started twinkling for 5 mins or so. I’ve seen this before but had forgotten just how beautiful it was to see. Even from a distance.
This is the entrance that Greg and I followed a school group into on our honeymoon into the Louvre. Guess we looked like chaperones.
Private viewing from the windows

We left the Louvre and started walking back towards our apartment in search of dinner. We came upon a group of couples dancing in an open area. Not sure if it was a class or just a random gathering but fun to watch for a bit regardless!

Cafe at night
We always make a stop in this courtyard with the kids.
