A little shopping and a lot of walking

After a quick pit stop to drop off the Heineken bag we headed out for my blue and white pottery store.

Our room is a shit show of a mess. Literally no storage at all. Gilberto would be appalled.
Cute dogs
Not an intended pic of Greg’s butt. Focus your attention on the bike. This mom climbed in this cart with her son and dog. Can you see the boxer barely looking over the edge?
This dog had a much better seat
I swear this is the garbage man. Greg says I’m crazy
This truck had water and hoses that two guys were spraying on the sidewalk to clear the leaves. Then a guy with a broom would sweep them.
This truck was sweeping them up.
That tower is our intended destination which was part of the wall that surrounded the city long ago.
Oh my bun! I like Buntastic Burgers! Too bad I just ate a pancake the size of my head!
I need all these plates
And to come to a tile painting workshop here
I also need all this

After picking out all the best things (which are being shipped) we decide to head home for a bit before our afternoon plans. Carey mentioned he’s thirsty which made me realize I am too.

We stopped my McDonald’s for drinks. For some reason Greg decided he needed a double cheeseburger. He’s clearly missing American food because it’s rare he ever eats McDonald’s.

While we were waiting Linda and I walked into one of the rubber ducky stores. Apparently these have become a mascot for Amsterdam. Have to admit. They were real cute. And there were so many options.

Almost left with this pilot duck
Food finally came. Greg ended up with a triple cheeseburger. Is that an actual thing? Not for Greg because he took a patty off to make it into a double.
Another cutie

Time for a quick stop back at the apartment and then it’s off to our canal cruise.
